Homer Animal Hospital is family owned and operated by Dr. Paramjit Sidhu, DVM and his son Dr. Gurinder “Danny” Sidhu, DVM, a father-son veterinary team who also operate Norgate Animal Hospital in North Vancouver. Dr. Paramjit Sidhu earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences from Punjab Agricultural University in 1987 and later contributed to public health with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Raised in Canada, Dr. Danny Sidhu followed his father’s path at the same university before earning his Canadian veterinary licensing, with clinical interests in dentistry, orthopedics, surgical care, and diagnostic imaging.
